A narrow plot

With an extremely long and narrow plot, the owners of this garden in Wantage decided they needed help to make the most of it, and Chameleon Design came up with a couple of different solutions for creating a series of distinct spaces through the garden. These were modelled in 3D using SketchUp computer software, to help the clients to visualise the design and even see how the sunlight and shadows would move around the garden at different times of the day or year.

The clients decided to run the implementation contract themselves, and there have been a few changes in the detail of the design from our masterplan; however the overall structure and concept of the design is strong enough not to be compromised, and the finished garden looks great. Most importantly the owners are delighted with the transformation.
